ThorpeInsider's Complete Guide To FRIGHT NIGHTS®: 25 YEARS OF FEAR

FRIGHT NIGHTS® is back at Thorpe Park for its 25th anniversary. Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s scare mazes, scare zones, entertainment, rides and more.

If you're planning on heading to FRIGHT NIGHTS this year, here's everything you need to know.

🎃 WHEN IS FRIGHT NIGHTS 2026?

FRIGHT NIGHTS takes place on selected dates between 2 October and 1 November 2026.

The current event dates are:

2–4 October

9–11 October

15 October–1 November

Thorpe is open from 10am on FRIGHT NIGHTS dates, with the event continuing until 9pm.

As always, it's worth checking your exact date before travelling, as FRIGHT NIGHTS only operates on selected days.

🎟️ HOW MUCH DOES FRIGHT NIGHTS COST?

FRIGHT NIGHTS is included with standard Thorpe admission, meaning you don't need a separate ticket just to experience the event atmosphere, scare zones, entertainment and the rides that are operating.

For 2026, standard entry starts from £39 per person when booked online.

Walk-up admission is currently listed from £66 per person.

Scare mazes are not included with standard admission and require an additional ticket.

If you want to visit the mazes, there are several different options available.

Fearsome Four + entry

From £71 per person online.

This includes Thorpe Park entry and access to the Fearsome Four scare mazes:

Trailers

DeadBeat

Stitches

Survival Games

Tenement is not included.

Individual scare maze tickets

Individual one-shot maze tickets start from £8 per person, allowing you to book individual mazes rather than the full Fearsome Four package.

Fearsome Four

The Fearsome Four package starts from £32 per person when purchased separately.

Phantom Five VIP Maze Experience

The Phantom Five experience starts from £110 per person, or £99 for Annual Pass Holders.

This gives you priority access to all five scare mazes.

There are two available time windows:

3pm–5:30pm

6pm–8:30pm

Park entry is not included with the Phantom Five VIP Maze Experience.

Prices can change, so always check your ticket before booking.

👻 THE FIVE SCARE MAZES

There are five scare mazes at FRIGHT NIGHTS 2026, with Tenement joining the line-up as the big new addition.

🩸 TRAILERS

Trailers takes place inside SuperSpark Cinema, where you'll be thrown into a horror film experience.

For 2026, the attraction features a new screening called Blood Red Roses.

The maze mixes cinema-themed storytelling with live actors, effects and scares as you make your way through the different scenes.

If you've experienced Trailers before, there are new elements to discover this year.

💀 DEADBEAT

DeadBeat takes you into a nightclub that has gone very wrong.

The attraction combines the nightclub setting with live performers and horror, creating a very different atmosphere from the other mazes.

DeadBeat returns for 2026 as one of the established FRIGHT NIGHTS attractions.

🧸 STITCHES

Stitches takes you into Howell's Toy Emporium.

What looks like a toy shop quickly becomes something much darker, with twisted toys and characters waiting inside.

For 2026, Stitches has new toys and characters as part of this year's experience.

🔬 SURVIVAL GAMES

Survival Games puts you into a world where contestants are exposed to a bio-engineered chemical known as Harmony.

The experience has been made darker for 2026, continuing the story of the attraction and its dangerous experiment.

Expect live actors, effects and plenty of chaos as you make your way through the attraction.

🌑 TENEMENT

The biggest new addition to FRIGHT NIGHTS 2026 is Tenement.

The maze is set inside Nova Lux Senior Living, where a power outage has caused the residents to disappear.

Guests enter the building as emergency electricians, but there's one major problem: you'll have to share a handheld light as you make your way through the building.

The light gradually fades, leaving you increasingly dependent on darkness, reflections, illusions and other sensory effects.

Thorpe describes Tenement as its first fully immersive, pitch-black scare maze.

There are also references to something known as LUXIVORA, with the story leaving plenty for guests to uncover.

Tenement is not included in the Fearsome Four package and needs to be purchased separately.

🚨 IMPORTANT MAZE INFORMATION

If you've booked a scare maze, make sure you arrive for your allocated time.

Thorpe Park allows a 15-minute grace period after your ticketed time.

After that, your ticket becomes invalid and you won't be admitted to the maze.

This also applies to the time windows for maze packages, so don't leave getting to your maze until the last minute.

Filming inside the scare mazes is also not permitted unless you have written permission in advance.

That includes phones, GoPros, Meta Glasses and digital cameras.

📍 SCARE ZONES

The scare mazes aren't the only way to experience FRIGHT NIGHTS.

Several areas around the park become scare zones, with characters appearing throughout the evening.

🐦 THE CROWS

The Crows return for 2026, with the experience moving from its previous location around Mawkin Meadow and appearing around the park.

Expect the Crows to be roaming around the area and interacting with guests.

😈 LUCIFER'S LAIR

Lucifer's Lair brings the Lord of Darkness and his followers to FRIGHT NIGHTS.

It's one of the event's returning scare zones and adds another layer of atmosphere as you move around the park.

🔥 PURGATORY TOWN

Purgatory Town returns on Big Easy Boulevard, with new characters joining the experience for 2026.

Thorpe describes Purgatory Town as a speak-to-scare zone, meaning the characters can interact directly with guests rather than simply appearing for a quick scare.

🎭 ENTERTAINMENT

FRIGHT NIGHTS isn't just about the scare mazes.

There are several entertainment experiences happening around the park throughout the event.

🏫 CREATURE CAMPUS

Creature Campus returns with Reunion: Reckoning.

The story brings together the five schools of Creature Campus, alongside new characters and a continuation of the wider Creature Campus story.

It gives the area a different atmosphere once the sun goes down, with the school setting becoming part of the FRIGHT NIGHTS experience.

🎉 REBEL BALL

The Rebel Ball takes place at The Launch Pad.

Sponsored by Fanta, the event features music, dancing and fire performances, making it one of the places to head if you're looking for something to do between rides and mazes.

🎬 THE CONJURING 4D EXPERIENCE

The Conjuring 4D Experience is also part of FRIGHT NIGHTS.

This is a separate 4D horror experience and is rated 15.

If you're visiting with younger members of your group, make sure you check the age restrictions before planning your evening.

🎢 RIDES AFTER DARK

One of the best-known parts of FRIGHT NIGHTS is getting to experience Thorpe's rides once the sun has gone down.

Major attractions operating during the event can include:

Hyperia

THE SWARM

SAW – The Ride

Stealth

Nemesis Inferno

Riding after dark gives the attractions a completely different atmosphere, particularly when you're surrounded by the FRIGHT NIGHTS lighting, music and characters.

Ride availability can change, so check the park's live information on the day you're visiting.

🏨 FRIGHT NIGHTS SHORT BREAKS

If one day isn't enough, Thorpe also offers FRIGHT NIGHTS short-break packages.

Prices start from £109 per person based on four people sharing.

Packages can include:

Two days of park entry

An overnight stay

Breakfast

Thorpe Shark Cabins

First-hour Fastrack on day two

Free parking

There are also FRIGHT NIGHTS-themed rooms available.

Depending on the package, these can include one-shot entry to all five scare mazes, including Tenement.

🎫 ANNUAL PASS HOLDERS

Annual Pass Holders can also visit FRIGHT NIGHTS.

You'll need to pre-book your Thorpe Park entry through the Passholder Hub before visiting.

Gold and Platinum Annual Pass Holders can also access discounted FRIGHT NIGHTS maze products through the Passholder Hub of Fear.

The exact prices and availability depend on the product and date, so check your Passholder Hub before booking.

♿ ACCESSIBILITY

Thorpe Park has introduced a new process for guests using Ride Access Pass on the FRIGHT NIGHTS scare mazes for 2026.

Guests need a valid Nimbus ID and Ride Access Pass.

The process involves visiting Guest Services and receiving the relevant Maze Timecard before using the virtual queuing system.

Guests will then receive a maze Fastrack or return time when it is time to experience the attraction.

If you require accessibility support, it's worth checking the latest information before arriving so you know exactly what you need to do.

👀 FRIGHT NIGHTS SENSORY GUIDE

Thorpe Park has also produced a FRIGHT NIGHTS Sensory Guide.

The guide covers the five senses and explains the different sensory elements that guests may experience across the scare mazes, shows and scare zones.

This can be particularly useful if you're planning your visit and want to know what types of effects may be used before entering an attraction.

🔞 AGE RESTRICTIONS

Thorpe recommends its scare attractions for guests aged 13 and over.

The Conjuring 4D Experience has a 15 rating.

These restrictions are important, so check the individual attraction information before booking.

💡 OUR TIPS

Get there early if you can.

Arriving earlier gives you time to get into the park, ride some attractions and get yourself organised before the evening gets busy.

If you're doing the scare mazes, plan around your allocated times. You don't want to be on the other side of the park when you're supposed to be entering a maze.

Don't forget that Tenement is separate from the Fearsome Four. If you've booked the four-maze package, you'll need to purchase Tenement separately if you want to experience all five.

Leave some time to explore the scare zones too. FRIGHT NIGHTS is more than just the mazes, and a lot of the atmosphere comes from the characters and entertainment around the park.

And if you're a coaster fan, make sure you ride something after dark. Hyperia, THE SWARM, SAW – The Ride, Stealth and Nemesis Inferno all offer a completely different experience once the sun has gone down.
